Dear Birth Mother,

We are Christopher and Kilee! Before we dive in to introducing ourselves, we would like to share our overflowing gratitude and love we feel towards you. We cannot pretend to know the road you are walking or even begin to understand the range of emotions you are experiencing. Whatever the road you have traveled that has led you to this letter, please know that we highly respect your decision to make an adoption plan. We recognize that this decision is one that has been made out of pure love and sacrifice.

Though we have never met, we pray for you daily. We ask God to guide your heart, protect your health and give you wisdom in this process. We pray for the day we meet (should you want to meet us) and for the connection we will share throughout our lives. We also pray for the little one growing inside of you! We pray for protection over his or her health, and that God would be preparing him or her, even now, to be welcomed into our home and to be fiercely loved by us, our family and our community.

We met in college and have been married for over ten years. We have always wanted a family but are unable to have biological children. We are so excited to.build our family through adoption! Christopher is a sports director/broadcaster for a radio station in the OKC metro. He enjoys music, movies, working out, skiing, playing tennis and going to sporting events, especially OU football games. I (Kilee) am an audiology assistant at a clinic in OKC. I enjoy music, movies, baking, being outside, going to the beach, doing makeup for events, and grabbing coffee with friends! Together, we love to travel, cook, watch movies and laugh a lot!

Sweet Birth Mom, it is with much prayer and humility that we have written you this letter. The words, “thank you” hardly seem enough considering the weight of this precious gift you are giving. We want you to know that we do not take this lightly. Keeping our promises to you is of the utmost importance to us. With that said, we promise you that if we are granted the gift of raising this precious child you are carrying, they will grow up knowing how much they are loved and wanted by you, and how courageous it was for you to choose an adoption plan. We promise that we will raise him or her in a loving and safe environment centered around the love of Christ. We promise that they will be loved unconditionally by us and by our entire support system. We promise that they will have whatever they need, and we will always do whatever is in their best interest.

Thank you for taking time to read this letter and getting to know us a little better. We hope to have the opportunity to get to know you better too. Regardless of your decision to choose us or not, we will be praying for you and your little one.

Love,.

Christopher and Kilee
