Hello!

We hope you are doing well today. You are so strong, brave, and courageous for choosing life for your baby. The fact that you would consider us as a gift to your child is an overwhelming honor. Thank you for taking the time to read about us.

Marcus and I (LeAnn) knew of each other as early as the 7th grade. We met again the summer of ’07 at a youth camp where he was in the band and I was a sponsor. We hit it off and 11 months later we were married. We not only love each other but we consider one another as best friends. We really enjoy spending time together whether that’s going to a coffee shop, hiking, sitting in a hammock, or going to watch a movie. Music is so important to both of us. We play instruments, enjoy attending concerts, and music fills our home. We both played basketball in high school and Marcus played in college. Now, we stay active in other ways for exercise. We enjoy watching football and basketball either live or on TV. Traveling is one of our main loves! It is something we have made a priority and we are looking forward to continuing to make new traveling memories with our children.

During our 10 years of marriage, a lot of life has happened; mostly great things and a few really hard things. One of those hard things is our inability to have children. We’ve seen fertility doctors, had a surgery, tried some IUI’s, and are now considered a couple with “unexplained infertility”. Our deep desire to parent, coupled with God speaking to our hearts, is what has led us to this adoption journey.  One of the great things that has happened is our daughter Suzanna. She is adopted and we love that she’ll get to share that common bond with a sibling.

We both own our own businesses and determine our own schedules which means we juggle who’s home with Suzanna. We feel very fortunate that we get to be the main care givers as we raise our family.  We hire a babysitter one day a week as well. Our family and close friends get so excited to get to babysit while we go on date nights. We plan on continuing this format of childcare as our family grows. We’re so grateful for our strong support system and we’re all ready to welcome another member to our family. We think that one baby would be awesome, and two would be a double blessing! If you happen to have twins, that doesn’t scare us at all. We actually welcome it!

We are a church-going family, which means our children will be raised in church learning God’s principles. We trust that God is building our family and we rest in the decisions that are being made by all who are a part of this amazing process.  We want to teach our children the values of love, respect, and patience as well as integrity, consistency, and honesty. Education is important to us. We will give our children the opportunity to learn in every way possible including learning a trade and going to college if they choose to. We want them to know that Jesus loves them, we love them, you love them, and they are capable of whatever they put their minds to.

Our desire is to have a friendship with you. We would never push that on you, but we really would love to know you if and when you’re ready for that. We can’t wait to meet you! You already have a really special place in our hearts and we hope someday you’ll feel like you’re a part of our family. Our hope is to hang a picture of you in the babies room. We want them to grow up talking about you and praying for you daily. We’ll make sure they know they got their good looks from you and we’ll remind them how much you love them and what a gift they are to all of us.

Thank you again for taking time to read this! We’re so grateful for you, your love for your baby, your thoughtfulness in considering us as parents, and your extreme generosity in choosing life and choosing to carry that sweet baby. We hope you feel safe and loved today!

Sincerely,

Marcus, LeAnn & Suzanna
