Dear birth parent(s),
We have never met, but we have prayed for you so often. We think the decision that you are making is so very brave, and we cannot even describe how much it means to us that you would even consider us to be the parents to your precious child. Your courage to make this decision is inspiring and we will make sure that your child is strong and courageous too. We will continue to pray for you each and every day. Regardless of if we are the family you choose, we wish you nothing but love and happiness for the rest of your lives.
We have been married for 7 going on 8 years, but we have been ‘together’ for 15 years. We are actually middle school sweethearts! In our free time, we love spending time with both of our families, attending church, attending sporting events, and traveling. We do not have any children yet, but we do have a sweet pup named Brody!
We have been trying to start a family for about 4 years now. Adoption has been something that has been on our hearts for a long time, and after much prayer, we truly believe it is the way that God intended for us to start a family! We know that at the right time, God will place the perfect baby in our life! We have wanted this for so long and we are just so excited for our lives to change in the best possible way. Mandy works with kids daily as an elementary school teacher, and we have a sweet niece that we love to play with any chance we get, and we just cannot wait to have a sweet baby of our own!
We want our baby to always know where he/she came from. We want our baby to know that he/she was so loved and had the strongest parent(s) who made the bravest decision to give them the best life possible. We want to share pictures and e-mails, and we would love to meet with you sometimes so that you can see your baby living a happy and healthy life because of the brave decision you made.
“It’s okay to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really brave.” Friends, we are scared and we know you must be scared too. We pray that you hold tight to the promise that “God didn’t bring you this far to leave you” (Philippians 1:6). He is in our hearts and he is holding us all tightly in his arms. We can’t thank you enough for the greatest gift that you could ever give us. We are thinking of you and praying for you each day.
Matt and Mandy
