Hello!

Before we begin to tell you a little bit about ourselves, we just want to let you know that we are so thankful that you are taking the time to consider us to raise this child.  We can’t imagine how difficult of a decision this must be but we will be forever grateful that you chose the path of adoption and allowed us to finally grow our family.

My name is Stacy and I’ve been married to Robert for 5 years.  Robert is an accountant and I work in forensics.  Outside of work, we try to enjoy as much time together as possible.  We are that couple that loves to sit at the dinner table every night and talk about our day. Robert does most of the cooking, while I stick to the baking and cleaning.  We enjoy watching sports together, whether its golf, college football or the NFL.  We are OU football fans and love taking friends and family to the games with us.  During most weekends, Robert is working on a house project, while I like to volunteer at the local animal shelter. We both love to travel when possible and can’t wait to make memories as a family.   Robert’s family lives close, so most Sundays we get together for “Sunday dinner” and then play a game afterwards.  My family lives a little farther away but since they are both retired, they try to come down and see us as much as possible.  This will be the first grandchild on both sides, so you can only imagine how much love will be given to this child.

After a year of marriage we decided to try to start having children.  We knew it would be a difficult road ahead and tried every route that was feasibly possible but unfortunately it was not Gods path for us.  After a year of talking and praying about our next path, adoption became an easy choice because we both have so much love to give. Even though this child may not have our eyes or our smile, it will have our heart.

While it is hard to put into words everything we wish we could tell you, just know that we will be praying for peace and comfort in your heart as we go through this journey together.  You are not alone in this process and we are already amazed by the amount of strength and courage you have in giving us this amazing gift of a family.

Sincerely,

Stacy and Robert
